If you move to florida we will move next door. Seriously.
I will hire people to stand in line at starbucks and talk about processing speeds. Or Glen could talk to daniel about processing speeds.
Think of the extra space- if you don’t have room for a guest room and a music room then you could have the music room at your house and guests could stay at our house. We could share toys and backyard stuff. We could go to disneyworld all the time! We could live at water parks! We could singlehandedly bring the california ethos to the needy people of florida! No one in california NEEDS glen the way the people of florida do. Let’s do it, pleeeeeease!

oh, Katie doesn’t know this! Not only did Ariel come to Molly’s birthday lunch but so did Jasmine, Cinderella and Aurora- and since Molly has the same skimpy bandeau top as Jasmine she enthusiastically GRABBED HER BOOB and yelled “I HAVE THIS TOP TOO!” Jasmine graciously removed Molly’s hand from her boob and smiled but not quickly enough to avoid Molly grabbing her OTHER boob and yelling, “Mine is JUST LIKE YOURS!”
That was fun.

Your kids rock. You are doing a great job. They are very creative and their minds are fireworks of ideas. They are well-rounded and have good experiences, which I think is a one of the most important factors for a developing a creative mind. In my opinion, being creative is a holistic feeling of self-expression. In my experience, all of the factors, from seeing my brother’s art, to TV, music, to writing, to interacting with non-creative people, all helped to develop my own sense of creativity. Practice is also helpful (but only part of it). For every “imagination” story Molly tells, I tell her 20. For every 20 that I tell, I have heard/read 100 from others. Anyway, sometimes it is just the kids that make their own path. All we can do is scream and yell to get back before dark.

We learned quickly not to tell my grandmother ‘I’m bored’ when we stayed with her in the summers, because that was a surefire way to get assigned a bunch of chores to stave off the boredom — anything from taking out the garbage to weeding the entire back driveway.

Man, Ethan is great. My prediction is that when the three boys learn to control their vast and superhuman powers, they will become the three storms to Molly’s Lo Pan (if I could use Big trouble in Little China as a reference). Of course, Molly wouldn’t let Kurt Russell stop her from achieving world domination.

Minus and Plus are the same thing. Yet another issue with school. First the teach counting, than addition, than subtraction, and than multiplication, then division, than squares and square roots, etc., etc., but that is all wrong. Counting, addition, subtraction, multiplying, squares and square roots are all exactly the same. There are just combinations of each other . If you know one, you know them all (division is actually fundamentally different). Of course, if you teach them all together it will take longer to learn the basics, but then it will take much less time to learn the stuff after (however, you need to teach it by utilizing Algebra as a fundamental tool). You would need a three-year math class, but after you would have taught five years of the current curriculum. If learning numeracy is the goal, than schools need to think about the most efficient strategy to accomplish that.
